Zelda Symphony

I just found out that Shokotan was actually a special guest at the Zelda Symphony Concert in Tokyo!
I wish I could have been there!

Skyward Nails

In anticipation of the upcoming release of Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, Shokotan got Zelda Nails again!

Shokotan is appearing in the newest series of spots for the new Zelda game: Skyward Sword.
If you recall she did the series of commercials for Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D for Nintendo back when it debuted in July. It was only obvious that she would be willing to show her excitement yet again for the newest game.
I love how these CM's dont even seem like commercials. She totally loves the Zelda series and you can tell she speaks from the heart when she talks about the games.

Shoko Negi!

There was a a giza pink fan club meeting in Kyushu this past weekend and Shokotan unveiled this adorable new Negi cosplay.
Negi is one of her younger cats. He is really cute and she is always drawing him.

Shoko's signed 3DS

Shokotan attended the Zelda Symphony concert in Tokyo and managed to get her red 3DS signed by Shigeru Miyamoto himself.
It is now encased in a protective cover so the signature doesn't rub off. lol

Shococos

Well I have been listening to both cover albums since they debuted in mid October and I have to say that I really love them.
Doru Hen is a really cute album with an 80'-90's idol pop sound.
The CD was made to look like an old mini lp record and the pics of all the "Shococos" (Shokotan's "alter egos")are vibrant and fun.
Shokotan's voice has really matured and you can hear it clearly in these new albums.
The first time I listened to them I was like "Who is this person?" lol
She really lets her strong and tough voice come out on the rock album which demonstrates the versatility in her voice. She can be both sweet and tough ^_~
If you are into nostalgic Japanese music you will love these albums since they are covers for songs that were popular back in the day.


I wanted to talk a little about the  Shococo's since I'm sure many are wondering why there is an army of Shokos.
The song はんぶん不思議 (Hanbun Fushigi) which was the official single and PV for the Doru Hen album is originally a popular song by the Japanese girl group "CoCo" in 1990.

Shokotan did a play on words and called herself ShoCoCo as well as also turn herself into a girl group lol.
As you can see each member had their own color assigned to them so they wore clothes in one particular color. We can see that with the Shococos as well. Here they are with a little information about each one:

She is the troublemaker of the group. Quite mischievous. ww

The youngest.

Age: 19

Favorite food: Caprese arugula salad.
Hobbies: Archery, Reading, and Piano
Because she is usually reticent and does not like lauging, she is a lone wolf.
Tsundere personality.

I think they are all very cute and I am torn between the Pink and Purple ones since they are my favorites.
