Eiko's Birthday! Level 89!

While Shokotan was away in Shiga her grandma, Eiko, celebrated her 89th birthday!
She received a delicious Fujiya Birthday cake to celebrate the occasion.
Shokotan vowed to return and continue the festivities.

It was also the anniversary of her father Katsuhiko's death.
Shokotan writes a touching message about knowing that her father gives her little hints that he is watching her from the sky. She know he is up there well and playing with cats in the sky....

Gize Performance at Lightning Rock Festival 2011

Shokotan played opening night of the "Lightning Rock Festival" in Shiga this past Saturday September 17.
The performance was so amazing hat she made it rain! lol
She performed with acts such as TMRevolution and Gazette.

Pinku!

Nintendo will be releasing a "Misty Pink" 3DS in Japan this October and of course Shokotan wants one!
She states in her blog entry that she recently got the Red colored 3DS to commemorate the release of Zelda on 3DS but now she can't wait for the pink one.
It's Shokotan's color of choice so there's no surprise there.
I really want one too lol but I'm not sure if and when this color will arrive in the states.

Shoko☆Cover Festival 2011

It seems Shokotan will be having another two day event live concert  on 12/19 & 12/20

She is calling it "Shoko☆Cover Fes．2011 in NAKAGAWA BROADWAY"
I am not sure where it is being held at this point but it seems it's going to be strictly Anison cover songs.
She is allowing the fans to request which songs she will sing.
This is fitting considering that her new anison albums will be released in October.

Clioneko at Kiddy Land

Clioneko items are beginning to sell at Kiddy Land!
Kiddy Land is a giant toy store in Japan. It's basically floor after floor of wonderful toys!
I guess you could say it's sort of like the FAO Schwarz of Japan.

Clioneko Socks

New cute clioneko socks will be sold at Don Quixote a popular discount chain store in Japan.
Kawayusu!!
Clioneko is the word Clione + Neko which means cat in Japanese.
Clione is a small floating sea slug (see wiki entry here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clione_limacina)
They are translucent and seem to have a "heart" in the middle of their bodies. 

Shokotan fused the two and calls them clionekos :3
She is often seen drawing them and they are usually always seen on Shoko goods.
