Nsum

After a successful Asia tour Shokotan has a new mini album on the way. August 15 to be exact. Titled "nsum" which I still haven't figured out why ^^;
This album has a great lineup of contributing producers....DECO*27, kz, sasakure, UK, jin, and Hyadain.
For those that don't know Deco is an original Vocaloid song producer.
Shokotan has already provided vocals for DECO*27's single, "Taking sweet shelter" which can be seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWkINVAUf4I&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Look forward to cute artwork from Kishida Mel as well.

Tsukushi

A decision has been made! The newest edition to the Nakagawa cat clan is named Tsukushi!
"Tsukushi" means horsetail plant. It's a plant found in mountainous areas. I can see how her forehead resembles the tip of the plant.

Shokotan has already drawn the anthropomorphic and clione version of her! Giza Kawayusu!

Chibineko Kawayusu!

There's a new edition to the Nakagawa family!ヽ(^。^)ノ Shokotan announced today that she has taken in this sweet little kitten. There was a big typhoon in Japan and this poor little guy seems to have been caught up in it. (´；ω；｀)

Shokotan is currently thinking of a name. This will be her 9th cat!! Many  of which are rescues. She is so kind hearted. Can't wait to see more pics of this little cutie.

ＣＯＣＨＡ☆Ｍiracle

KeikoMaMa has opened her own store in called COCHAMiracle.
It is a really cute store with lots of cell phone accessories and jewelry.
She is also using the space as a museum of sorts filled with Shokotan memorabilia!
Many personal items are being displayed such as costumes and toys from her collection.
Lots of Mamitasu Clioneko items!!! Super Kawayusu!

Giza 10!

Shokotan's Tenth anniversary photo book release featuring her in Saipan is out now. It includes her history and manga works from 2002 to 2012 as well as some breathtaking photos!

MMTSxRapunzel!

So Much news! So much news! I thought I'd start with something that made me nearly faint!
Shokotan's brand, MMTS,  has received permission to collaborate with Disney's Rapunzel!
As you may know Shokotan voiced the main character Rapunzel in the Japanese version of  Disney's "Tangled". I think this may be the best collaboration yet! ww
Then again I always say that and she manages to surprise me!

That dress! The print on these is amazingly cute! It has little Rapunzels, pascals, and towers.

I wish they had more grown up items in the states. I love this movie and I have been dying for a tshirt but all I have found is childrens sizes. hahahah oh well.

Hello

To everyone that visits the site: I have not abandoned it! lol ww
I have been tied up with many things and have not been able to bring you any news :( so sad!
It is my plan to continue wiith the blog and try to be consistent with my postings. It should be easier now that I have a Smartphone! yay!

New Birthday Concert added and HK!

Shokotan's two date birthday concert celebration has sold out as of last month. It seems that a new date has been added 5/6/12 to meet the demand! The event will take place in Hibiya.
This is great news for all the fans that were not able to purchase them. 


As you know already Shokotan is also preparing for her big Asia tour. Just last week visited Hong Kong to view the venue in which she will perform and also to do a press event at HMV.

She has many fans in Hong Kong! Everyone was so excited to have her there!

Rainbow

I just found out that Shokotan is featured in RAM RIDER's "AUDIO GALAXY"
She will be singing "Rainbow -NAMIDA NO ATO DE"

Ram Rider is a great producer in Japan that has not only great songs but the best remixes in Japan.
I have several of his albums and see him credited all the time in other artists' albums as well.

Folktales from Japan

Shokotan is continuing her anison streak. She is doing the opening  and ending theme to a cute television show titled,"Folktales from Japan".

The show itself consist of short stories that have  been passed down though generations and teach kids traditional moral values.

"Hitori no Kimi ga Umareta to sa." will  be the Opening
"Arukou" is the ending theme.

MMTS X HELLO KITTY

I was wondering when this was going to happen.... :)

Shokotan has collaborated with Sanrio again for her MMTS Spring/Summer 2012 collection.
The first time they collaborated was in 2007 with a collection of phone , plushies and t-shirts featuring her cat, MMTS.

Saint Seiya!

Shokotan has been very busy but in a good way!
I grew up watching Saint Seiya and it seems that there will be a new series be airing titled, "Saint Seiya Omega".
Shokotan has been chosen to sing the new revamped intro song, "Pegasus Fantasy OmegaΩ." by Make-Up arranged by Kenji Hiramatsu.
She will also be voicing the role of Saori Kido, the personification of the goddess Athena.
Shokotan is a fan of the series, and has menrtioned that she frequently sang the Saint Seiya themes "Pegasus Fantasy" and "Soldier Dream" at karaoke. In a interview she stated that she was re-reading the manga series to prepare for her role.
The series premieres on April 1st.

Shokotan Asia Tour

Shokotan will be having a first ever tour in Asia starting on July 7 in Hong Kong and finishing up in Guangzhou!
Dates are as follow:

★  8/5 Sunday: Singapore
★  8/31 Friday: Shanghai

Kera!

Shokotan is on the cover of the Kera! March issue.
The last time we saw Shokotan on Kera she was on the cover dressed as Rapunzel.

On this recent issue she has more of a rock look.She looks kawayusu either way ^_^

Horoscope

Shokotan's 15th single is out now. First Press copies came with a special handshake meeting ticket.
The special 2 day release event occurred at Hyogo HMV store and Kanagawa Lazona mall.

Shokotan performed her new Single which she dedicated to her grandmother who recently passed away.

The song is beautiful. It reminds me of Fuyu no Yuenchi from the Magic Time album. It just has that sentimental feel to it. I hope many of you have heard it by now. It's been going nonstop on my playlist.

I have been away from the blog and Shoko's blog for awhile since the new year. After finally trying to get back on track with updates I came to a post that brought me to tears. It seems that Eiko, Shoko's grandmother, made a trip to the sky on January 3.
Shokotan was away from blogging for a few days for bereavement.

I got to personally meet Shoko's grandmother at the first live i attended on Shoko's birthday 2010 and I was extremely honored.
I must say that even though there was a language barrier I can feel what a wonderful, sweet, loving person she was. Shokota loved her dearly and I feel a heavy sadness. Shokotan states that she was happy that her grandmother got to attend her last live of the year in Nakagawa Broadway and cheered and jumped stronger that she had ever seen her cheer.
